There wasn’t anything we saw that spoke on this topic, but it’s always a good idea to be prepared for one.
Here is something to keep in mind regarding background checks:

- Massachusetts
- Montana
- Nevada

What felony convictions might have a hard time getting hired here?
There may be a few convictions that may have a harder time getting hired here. Here are a few we think may cause you problems:
- Since this is a field based on customers and interacting with the customers, any violent crime may be frowned upon.
- Any theft or fraudulent use of a credit card will probably be something that gets a closer look. Hair salons have access to expensive hair products, tools and customers’ credit cards.
Does Regis Salons hire sex offenders?
This is something we don’t know. Regis Salons didn’t say, and there are no online reports for or against the company for hiring sex offenders.
Does Regis Salons drug test?
While looking at our online sources, there were some saying yes and there were others saying no. This may depend on the location at which you are applying. However, when you are actively seeking a job, it’s always a good idea to be prepared for a drug screen . . . just in case.
