What felony convictions might have a hard time getting hired here?
There are a few convictions that will more than likely give you a difficult time when applying for a job with Allstate. Keep in mind any conviction that can cause car insurance rates to increase also appears to be a red flag on hiring. An offense that involves theft of personal information will make it more difficult since some positions will have access to customer information, as well.
However, some of their positions make it clear that there are strict Federal Communications Commission (FCC) rules they have to follow. As such, you shouldn’t apply if you have any felonies related to theft, violence or drugs within the past seven years, or any past convictions concerning violation of the FCC.
Also, be aware that some of their positions require an insurance license, and certain convictions are barred from receiving this license.
