New Home Islamic Re-Entry Society mission – Our goal as the NHIRS (New Home Islamic Re-entry Society) is to provide a faith based home for men who are homeless or who have recently been released from prison while providing them with mentoring and connecting them with the necessary resources to make a positive transition into the free society. Many of the men seeking to enter our program come to us with zero income. Our building contains three town house apartments. We have completed many renovations on the first two town houses and begun accepting residents in May 2012. However the third town house is in need of many renovations. New carpet, for instance, needs to be installed. The bathroom, and kitchen areas are in need of pluming, sinks, tubs, etc. We need a kitchen cabinet, counter top, and sink for the third house. In addition, we are currently doing other inside renovations, drywall, plastering, and painting. We are in need of community support, and sponsorship to held fund the general operations of our facility. Islam encourages us to support and aid one another in all that is good and righteous. Therefore, we invite you to aid us in performing this valuable community service.
