Community Action Agency (CAA) Fresh Start mission – CAA assists ex-offenders in finding employment by providing services with a special focus on the unique barriers that people leaving prison often face when returning to society. We are committed to provide ongoing retention services in order to promote stabilization and reduce recidivism.

More information on services provided:

  • Employment
    • An employment program for ex-offenders (no sex-offenders) age 18 and older, who live in Hamilton County, and who have income at or below the 125% of poverty.
    • Workshops covering interview techniques, resume development and skill assessments.
    • Career coaching to learn how to identify the employment pathway that best meets your skills and employability.
    • Job leads based on criminal history and skill set.
    • Skill training programs for construction, your CDL and advanced manufacturing for qualified individuals.
