This area is a little tricky. When applying for their driving positions, a background check is done. We didn’t see it mentioned for any of their other positions, though.
Here is something to keep in mind regarding background checks:
If an offense is less than seven years old these states will see it:
- New Hampshire*
- New York*
(*certain pay or salary bracket positions require a screening.)
These states will only see guilty convictions:
- Indiana (limited check)
- New York
The states that will still look at everything are as follows:
- Indiana (extensive check)
- New Jersey
- North Carolina
- North Dakota
- Rhode Island
- South Carolina
- West Virginia
PBC isn’t a worldwide company. There is one location in Portland, Oregon. So, as you can imagine, there weren’t many reviews on glassdoor.com. They’re rated with 2.8 out of 5 stars. PBC seems to be a great place to work with a family-like atmosphere. The main complaints we saw are due to the long hours often required, and lack of work-life balance.

Does Portland Bottling Co hire sex offenders?
We don’t know if PBC will hire people with sex offenses on record, but we have our doubts. They didn’t say, and we couldn’t find it online.
