Second Chance Reentry mission – Second Chance Reentry was founded in 2009 to empower formerly incarcerated individuals and their families to create sustainable and community-based reentry solutions that allow them to build stronger lives as they transition back into society. We envision that every man, woman, and young adult released from the prison has an opportunity for a better future and ability to contribute and participate in their community.
Who they help – At SCR, we concentrate our efforts to serve individuals released from county jail who identify as homeless or greatly at-risk of homelessness upon release. However, we understand that any form of criminal justice involvement is a barrier to success, therefore our services are open to anyone with a past or recent criminal justice experience.
